Let Us Be Thankful Boys and Girls...

Like I promised, here is the rest of the post about my Thanksgiving Day.
It started out when I was woken up by the sounds of another dog in our house.  After sitting in bed for 20 minutes confused as to how that dog got in our house and when, I went upstairs and found out that she was dropped off while we were still sleeping and that we were dogsitting him for a few days.

I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (tradition) then left for my grandma's house.  We left early of course in order to watch the Dog Show on her tv.

After Aunty Jeanie, Uncle Art and the best cousins ever arrived we started in on the lunch/dinner.  Mmmm! Everyone brought things, including my favorite Watergate Salad (childhood favorite) and jello...and turkey of course.  I started in on my plate of food and saved the turkey for last.  Of course, I ended up being too full to have anything past a single bite of turkey by then. =P

We played hide-n-go-seek with the squinch.

It was taken by a phone.  Sorry about the bad quality :)
And a statue freeze game....where you "can't move an eye or your hair."

Again with the picture from a phone. =P

After hanging out for a while we all had dessert.  Amish pies and desserts, pumpkin chocolate chip bread certainly make for a very good dessert and a full tummy.  Then we left.  Happy, stuffed, and tired.

Now I am home watching a Christmas Hallmark movie called "A Boyfriend For Christmas."  It is pretty cool.  I pleases me.

My thankful list of 10:

1- I have been saved by Jesus and can now worship Him in heaven forever.
2- I have been given the best family in the world.  Including many family members in Hawaii who allow us to stay in their home while visiting.
3- I've been blessed with many, many amazing and godly friends who make me laugh.
4- I have wonderful teachers and pastors.
5- I have a well paying job.
6- I have an amazing neighborhood, with friends who throw late night movies, random bonfires, or just hang out.
7- I have trials like lyme disease where I can dance and have pain afterwards, yet still be joyful with the knowledge that I will be pain-free in heaven.
8- I have a box with the word "Joseph" on it full of so many memories that are now overflowing.
9- I have curly hair that I used to hate, but have realized that people spend tons of money to get the same hair as me.  I am not thankful for it.
10- I have seen Wicked, performed at the Kennedy Center...and many other things. :)
